Under the MOU, DNN Technology will appoint Chiptronics as its authorized distribution partner in Malaysia. The two companies will collaborate in three key areas — distribution, local technical service and support, and joint marketing — bringing “Made in Taiwan” semiconductor equipment to Penang, Johor Bahru and other semiconductor hubs across Southeast Asia.
OEM TECHNOLOGY MEETS 40 YEARS OF LOCAL EXPERTISE
With more than 20 years of experience in semiconductor equipment, DNN Technology has long worked closely with Taiwanese equipment manufacturers, integrating their technologies and process capabilities to help Taiwanese equipment expand into overseas markets.
Chiptronics has been active in Malaysia’s industrial development for 40 years. THREE AREAS OF COLLABORATION: DISTRIBUTION, LOCAL SERVICE AND JOINT MARKETING
Distribution. Under the MOU, Chiptronics will be responsible for the marketing, sales and local business development of DNN Technology equipment in Malaysia, strengthening Malaysia semiconductor equipment supply across major clusters including Penang and Johor Bahru.
Product portfolio. The partnership covers Taiwanese semiconductor equipment integrated by DNN Technology, spanning a range of critical back-end process tools, including laser processing systems, automatic inkjet marking machines, laser engraving machines, automatic dispensing systems, CO2 dry ice cleaning systems, thin-film thickness measurement instruments, automatic CMOS protective film laminators, 3D vision automatic tape-and-reel packaging machines, and automatic JEDEC tray laser engraving machines.
Service. Chiptronics will provide front-line local technical support, including on-site installation, scheduled maintenance and troubleshooting, while DNN Technology will provide OEM technical support and spare parts supply. Together, they form a two-tier service model: immediate local service, backed by OEM technical expertise.
Marketing. The two companies will jointly promote DNN’s equipment and solutions to more Malaysian customers through trade shows, technical exchange events and digital platforms.
